harp x lo was founded by Jacinta to combat having to constantly tell her girls “no” when it came to all things beauty & glam. She sought to find a solution that not only allowed her and her girls, Harper & Harlow, to spend quality time together, but also give them a taste of the glam life. One that could be mess-less and age-appropriate.

Our family of four—despite the small number—is larger than life! From the typical parent-teacher conferences, swimming lessons, dance classes, tennis practices and non-stop play dates, we’re just like any other family. We laugh; we live; we (the parents) take Tylenol; we love. And love is the foundation that keeps our small, larger than life family together!

Jacinta has always had a love for all things glam and beauty. Even as a little girl with a jheri curl, glasses, and braces, you couldn’t tell her she wasn’t fly. Tapping into her love for beauty, and fusing it with her daughter’s love for the glam life too, she created harp x lo, a mommy & me glam company for black + brown girls who are all about living the fab life together. The glam life is more than makeup; it’s beauty; it’s accessories; it’s apparel; it’s a lifestyle.

Harper (Harp) & Harlow (Lolo) are affectionately known as sugar and spice. Now, depending on the day, hour, or even minute, they can alternate their nicknames.
Harper (6 going on 26) and Harlow (3) are sisters to the core. Both love toys, food and Kidz Bop. But, they also love watching me. It’s weird, but also an honor.
